Hello students and family!!!
My name is Mrs. Lieu, formerly Miss Cho, and I will be your child's 5th grade teacher this year. :) I am so excited to be able to have the opportunity to work with your child and see them grow in their last year as elementary students.
I graduated from Carlsbad High School and received my BA and teaching credential from Cal Poly Pomona. I also completed the graduate program at Cal State San Marcos with a supplement in Technology.
I love traveling. I have been to Korea, China, Japan, Greece, and Prague. I hope to see a lot more!!!
I played basketball for my high school team and coached basketball for a couple of years for a city league and one year for the 8th grade boy's basketball team at Madison Middle School.
This will be my eighth year of teaching. I taught two years at Madison Middle School, first year as a 6th grade LA/Lit/SS teacher then the second year as a 7th grade LA/Lit/SS teacher. This will be my sixth year teaching 5th grade at Casita Center.
I truly believe that all students can achieve their greatest goals when everyone (the student, family, and teacher) is working together to help reach SUCCESS. I am excited to be working with all my students and their families to help, not only with the educational subjects of Language Arts, Math, Social Studies, and Science, but also to help with the transition to middle school.
I am looking forward to this year and all the great work we will be producing.
